2020 chevy malibu shift to park recall

Dharris Discussion starter. 2 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · May 10, 2021. I recently purchased a 2020 Chevy Malibu with only 2100 miles on it I haven't drove it over 5K miles and the transmission is slipping. The vehicle runs rough in drive and when you go to put it in park it jerks violently.

The official method from the GM bulletin is replacement of a switch component along with the harness or replacement of the entire shifter.
