Last updated by Charles Burgar on April 29th, 2021: Our last update saw the addition of five excellent Strength weapons that have remained great choices in Dark Souls 3. Instead of adding more options, we've included stat breakdowns for each weapon to give you an idea of how much base damage they deal and how well they scale with Strength.

Weapon: Battle Axe (STR: 12, DEX: 8) A violent axe thirsting for battle, the Battle Axe is a fantastic weapon to start our Strength build. With its high damage, quick swings, and buffable attacks, the battle axe offers an easier transition into Strength without having to deal with the build’s extended swings or heavy equip load right away.Weapon art is great tool for gank spanking. This and lorian should be your prime str/pyro weapons. Demon fists were nice when they had wombo combo but it was nerfed and all can i recomnend is to use it offhand like cestus for parry. Weapon art is good for finishing players with lighter weapons becouse players simply dont expect uppercut after spin. 5. Dragonslayer Greataxe. The Dragonslayer Greataxe has long stood the test of time as one of the most reliable Strength weapons in Dark Souls 3. Sadly, it has always been overshadowed by the aforementioned Black Knight Greataxe. However, in our opinion, this weapon has its own merits. 6. Sunlight Straight Sword. How to get the Sunlight Straight Sword. A staple in Faith builds, the Sunlight Straight Sword is an amazing weapon with high Faith scaling and a great Weapon Art. The Weapon Art, called Oath of Sunlight, acts as a temporary buff that increases absorption, so it’s great for dicey situations.STR = Heavy Weapons with heavy Armor. Most Weapon have poise frames (Attack animation where you need a certain treshold of Poisedamage to be staggered) Good with faith miracles since you take mostly more dmg with a poise build and you have buffs on your side. Black knight sword is a quality greatsword, one of the bests, but scales more with str than dex. Try increasing it to 40, if you still have problems maybe you should try other weapon classes. #3.
