Impala knocking noise

42,000 miles. In December, 2016, my 2009 Impala started having this loud clicking noise (sounds like a woodpecker) under the hood. The first time I heard this noise was the day after I got an oil change. As I was driving, out of nowhere, I heard this annoying clicking noise in the dash. It lasted about 90 seconds.

I accidentally filled up with 87 about a year or so ago (tuned for 93) and it ran like crap and pinged like crazy. I don't think it is only because the first owner was an older man.
