But in a long fight you want the bloodloss from the boss.So is Nagakiba with double slash and arcane scaling better than RoB. Nagakiba with arcane scaling has more buildup and also more range. I'm no katana expert and in fact never used them at all, which is why I'm asking. Depends on what you are fighting. For enemies with fire resistance the Nagakiba is clearly better.Nagakiba, they have the same damage but nagakiba is longer. If you dual wield use both unless you can get 2 nagakibas by trading or in NG+. Dual wielding deals more damage, especially with some damage boost talismans like rotten insignia. Since uchi and naga are the same weapon type (katanas) wielding simultaneously lets you use dual wield attacks, which I personally think are very much worth it. You also get quick bleed build up doing that as the dual wield moveset means you're constantly hitting foes with both weapons in quick succession. 2.Not even gonna lie, the default Ash of War is already excellent unless you're doing PvP. Nagakiba is so INSANELY long the super fast draw of Unsheathe lets it rip into enemies that aren't even really in melee range of you. You can also, amusingly, put Lion's Claw on it for all that posture damage and the pancake on smaller enemies. #5.
