Pathfinder 2e ranger build

I've been working on a Ranger build for a 2e game I'm joining tomorrow. I've got some great advice here regarding a Strength based one with Flurry, Twin Takedown and a Bear Companion. While looking for other build options I came across this on Paizo's forums. It interested me as I played a Polearm, Sentinel Fighter in 5e and really enjoyed it.

Taking archer on ranger would be largely a waste of feats you dont take for yourself, since the dedication gives you access to bow which you already have, and if you are elf you can already get elven weaponry even if you wanted to make a rogue or druid with longbow, doubleshot is like double strike which i use in the build dualwield barbarian ...

I was looking at the pathfinder 2e ranger, and really liked the look of the outwit branch. Instead of an archer or a weapon dervish, really focus in on being a knowledgeable nature guide who knows their enemies and how to deal with them, probably taking a lot of the nature guide and monster hunter feats.Lizardfolks make for great Monks that don't have a Stance. Look at things like Ki Strike and Brawling Focus. Also remember that you don't need to be Unarmed all the time. Think of it less as a build and more as a tool in the toolbox. Atleast those would be my thoughts, Precision ranger is quite strong for most things, especially with animal companion, and while flurry ranger can still use it, it might get quite tight action wise for a long time, and prevents the rage synergy you talked about, but that is up to you if you are okay with it. 6. Wayward-Mystic.Ranger is nice, but I think investigator architype is a hat on a hat. Pursue a lead(+1) and hunt prey(+2) are both circumstance bonuses, so the dedication is a bit of a down grade.
