Persona 4 golden research card
I don't remember if it works this way in P4, but in P3 you were guaranteed a shuffle time if your main character dealt the last blow or if you finished with an all out attack. Otherwise it was random. Attack weaknesses and keep doing all-out attacks. Follow up attacks and combination attacks count as well.
It would upgrade to Mazio. I'd go for skill cards or fuse a better Izanagi instead of Magician Card upgrades, since Izanagi's level up skills are very limited. So currently I'm doing an Izanagi only playthrough and Izanagi still only has Zio & Cleave (because my luck on getting Magician in the Shuffle Time deck is terrible).

So I just fused together a new persona that's 5 lvls above me due to max s link. However it seems the new persona has lower stats than my current persona that's 5 lvls lower.
