JAKL gains AR ergonomics, but looses the availability of (upper) parts. Now PCCs and battle rifles are a different story. The bufferless PCC makes them much more compact. BRs (.308) seem to be the way militaries are moving and better for both hunting and long range shooting. PSA JAKL 300 BO PISTOL? Anyone have forster hand experience with one? Looking at getting one with the triangle side folder to keep as a backpack gun. Would be putting it in a Vertx bag. Are they more compact than a similar sized AR with law folder? Law folder just seems to make the gun so wide when folded up.Overall though the sentiment seems positive about the JAKL. For $650 the upper will fit on whatever milspec lower I want, or I just buy the whole thing for $1000. I've got $300 in the barrel, handguard, and folder that I can turn around and offload.
